GLOBAL - Reignsound[1] RecordsSM rapper ATAAH KING[2] has shared a statement aimed at both supporters and industry insiders:
"I'ma go a month w/o light'n 1" ― ATAAH KING (via memo to REIGNSOUNDXLTM)
The announcement—delivered exclusively through REIGNSOUNDXLTM, the ReignsoundSM promotional arm—isn’t just about taking a break from weed; it's also indicative of a personal experiment—and perhaps even a cultural reset.[3]
This phase builds on an earlier effort from the top of the year, when ATAAH participated in the Re:Habilitation+ pilot project by ReignsoundSM on 𝕏®, leaning on community support to begin detoxing from the consumption of weed.[4]
While that attempt planted seeds, this time ATAAH's taking a slightly different approach—one that is self-sourced.
With professional psychologists by his side and a deeper reliance on faith and God-given willpower, the rapper seems committed to redefining what recovery looks like in real-time.[5]
All the while, behind the scenes critical filings are underway: lawsuits citing civil rights violations and the formal incorporation of the ReignsoundSM brand enterprise, including the official establishment of ReignsoundSM Records.[6]
These aren’t just business moves, but also personal turning points with each thread weaving into the next, and many details still forthcoming.
As of right now, we know: Grillz By ScottyTM+, the Atlanta-based global jewelry brand, has held a solid role throughout this process; names like JUSS JABZZ+ and IIIAMDESS+ have been spotted nearby; there's also been movement around and including members of what’s being referred to as the “Reignsound Group Family;”[7] as well as involvement with and affiliation to Roc Nation®.[6][8][9]
We'll dive deeper into these topics as additional information becomes available.
